The complex life experience and the cultural context have educated Alias Canetti's complex thought,but the influence of the orient culture on him, especially the Chinese culture may not be neglected.Although Canetti didn't know any Chinese,but he contacted Confucian sutra and felt like old friends at first sight through sinologist Richard Wilhelm's writings.We can perceive Canetti's Knowledge and deep love to Chinese culture in his Biography,novel and essays of studies.Based on this,the present paper endeavour to discuss the origin and the conjunction between Chinese culture and Canetti.The full text altogether divides four chapters.The introduction part,mainly from the 20th century time spirit,analyzes the difficult position from the China and the Europe which the occident culture faces,East and West all has many people of lofty ideals advocate how to saves occident energetic crisis with the Chinese tradition energetic idea.In the first chapter,we will talk about Canetti's manner he treated women which he borrowed from Confucius and Buddha.Canetti who had the prejudice to the female himself added this emotion to the characters of his novels and used Sage's words,such as Confucius and Buddha,as his pompous reasons.In the second chapter,we will elaborated Canetti's approval and model to the Confucius and Mencius populace in their writings,his ultimate goal which pondered to the populace was against the Fascism centralization principle. In the third chapter we will inspect the China factors of Auto-da-fé,from the macroscopic angle using the Image theory.A conclusion is drawn in the last part that Canetti absorbed the useful from Chinese culture subjectively and it shows that the dillema the west faces and it is necessary to the go to the orient to locate the purity that doesn't exist in Europe now.
