The Influence Of The Song Dynasty's Finance Policies On Fujian's Temple Economy

The Song Dynasty's temple economy was worthy of attention: the huge amount of the monks and the temples, the active commercial management, the huge amount of the temple's estate. The Song Dynasty's finance policies played an important part in the development of Fujian province's temple economy. This article tries to prove it by three parts: the excessive census register policy caused the huge amount of the monks; the change of the tax policy influenced the temple's commercial management; the transformation of the land policy impelled the change of the temple's estate.
