A Discourse Upon Wei Yingwu's Poems On Relatives

The thesis is to discourse Wei Yingwu's Poems on Relatives. It is introduced briefly at the beginning, the development of such kind of poem before Dali Time. Then, the thesis divides his Poems on Relatives into four periods, including, Luoyang period, Changan period, Chuzhou Cishi period and Jiangzhou and Suzhou period according to his living time. It explores his changing life and developing thinking behind the poems and examines the creation background. Two conclusions are summarized as follows: first, the relation of the mutation of his poem style and social economic conditions in Dali Time; second, the influence of his origins, disposition and healthy conditions on the creation of the poems. As for art style, it embraces "casual but elegant" style in Wei Suzhou Fashion, with special features in specific art techniques, such as the construction of artistic conception, the art of ending sentence, the fashion of narrating the feeling directly, etc. As for the last part, it discusses his influence on the poem creation in the time to come. Special focus are taken especially on his poems on memorizing the past people and on the influence of artistic conception created by " listening to the falling rain in front of the bed".
