The Research Of Development Of Chinese Movie Under The Globalization Context

Intercultural dissemination has become more and more frequent under the wave of globalization in which Chinese films, as the most potential international movie market, will face more powerful clash. This paper firstly traces back to the origin of globalization, operates the boundary of its conception and its influence to culture. The author thinks that globalization brings to culture two-sided effects: one hand, culture inclines to be the same, on the other hand, culture becomes different and diverse. Therefore,"globalization"is a complicated process which filled with conflictions. Globalization has provided the background for cultural spread and creation of world cultural space, however, it also gives a challenge to protect every nation's traditional culture and maintain poly-cultural interests and values. As far as the movie filed, in last twenty years there are a number of excellent Chinese films which wined variety of prizes in many international movie festivals which makes Chinese movie globalizes much earlier than Chinese literature. In the colorful landscape of Chinese current movies, Zhang Yimou and Chen Kaige undoubtedly became the most special and controversial characters which has showed the hesitated cultural situation of Chinese current movie in the opportunity of globalization and international communication. This paper puts Mr. Zhang and Chen's films as the basic point to research analyze the vacancy of Chinese movie under the context of globalization. For the intercultural dissemination of Chinese movie, the context of globalization is a challenge and an opportunity as well. Chinese movie must face the fight positively and find a proper point in the combination of"internationalize"and"nationalize", and fully use native culture to reflect national cultural tradition and use modern ideas and thoughts to review traditional culture and to create the new situation of Chinese movie.
