The Study Of Virtual Characters In The Communication Of Visual Media

Along with the development of digital technology, virtual characters more and more appear in the visual media. Its domains are also becoming more and more widespread. By the document analysis from the perspective of the bodies of the virtual characters and their relations with the environment,In a broad sense, virtual characters refer to the generated bodies made by mechanism and digital technology. While in a narrow sense the virtual characters refer to the generated bodies only made by digital technology. And from the perspective of psychology the complex of extending human beings , the unique qualities of visual characters and the worship of technology are also analyzed. The symbolic values of virtual characters are analyzed from the semiotic perspective. The thesis expounds the characteristics of the coding and decoding process of the virtual characters and their values, and focuses on the mechanism of generation of the body image during the interpretation of the body interface. The Body Image plays an important role in the communication.The relationship of body and environment is inseparable. Under the traditional Chinese environmental ethics, the combination of man and heaven is the key to the relation of the integration of body and environment from the perspective of the Chinese traditional environmental ethics. The evolutionary process of the visual characters and the environmental sets are expounded to demonstrate their special relations and the unique roles. These studies may guide people to examine, interpret and disseminate the virtual characters from a new perspective, and provide a certain slight reference for the design of the virtual characters and the digital environmental sets.
