| This paper explores the structrue,property and function of the composition the "N" and the "V" of the nominal "NV" phrase and the relation beteen them.Our studies prefer the semanteme and function of the "N" and the "V" both in the observation and depiction.From the semantic role ,this paper divides the "N" into the necessary semantic components such as "patient","result","causer","agent" and the non-necessary semantic components such as "scope","method","time","location","reason","motive",and put the emphasis on the investigation on the function of the "scope-method" nouns acted as attribute. As this part of nouns are mostly acted by abstract nouns and is used as the attribute in a sentence ,non-typical inside and outside environments make them function easy drifting.Those nouns present a little attributive character.After adduce many phenomena of the reduce of the "V" 's verbal attribute ,this paper explains this kind of function variation from the point of the syllable, the internal structure and exterior envivoment,then goes deep into the inside laye of semantic structure.From the point of view of cognitive linguistic,we divide the "V" into several big types:patient(result) -outstanding type, mehod(tool)- outstanding type and time-location- outstanding type etc, have looked for the selective regulation of the "V" to the "N" in the nominal "NV" phrase.By using comparative methods , This paper compares the "N" and the "V" in the related nominal phrases such as "Nçš„V" and "VN" from many layers and points,intensifying the conclusion of preceding paragraphs further.In addition, the paper makes some investigations on the circumstances when the nominal "NV" phrase enters into a sentence. |
