It has been a known fact that Vietnamese students always encounter mis-matching incorrect usage of mandarin when they are trying to construct appropriate sentences. This has been an existing problem for these students to pick up writing Mandarin. Although I have been learning since years, I still feel that writing good Mandarin always a difficult task for me to accomplish. Nevertheless, I have never given up hopes trying to look for the best learning method. Moreover, I am interested and engaged in analyzing correction usage of mandarin and methodology. That is the reason why I have chosen this theme for my final year thesis work. Being a good Chinese teacher role, searching for best tools or methodology for fast Chinese learning, has been an important task.Collective rather corrective works has been done during my study periods in Beijing Language School. Collective inappropriate student works has been an increasingly problem among these Vietnamese students in Economics & Trade University and 2nd Foreign Language School. With them, I have collected 42 exercise books within a month from these language school bodies and also continue to collect even after returning to Vietnam. Among these books, I have identified 500 incorrect usages of Chinese characters and increased to 800 more from latter. Sorting and analyzing process has been enforced which then lead to isolation of two major areas: 1. wrong word-pattern Word, 2. wrong pronoun word.'Wrong word-pattern'word comprises of 5 main types: 1. side pattern word mistakes; 2. side pronoun mistakes; 3. word-parts mistakes; 4. combine/organize words mistakes; 5.'using preceding word-parts to make post word-part combination'mistakes.'Word pronoun'word comprises of 2 types: 1.'same pronunciation'mistakes; 2.'close pronunciation'mistakes. In order to tackle this problem, identify all'bad'words with the underlying reasons will be the prior actions, before an effective teaching method can be defined. I hope that I could improve my mandarin grammar usage and use it effectively in our normal teaching work environment after all these experiences gain in collective thesis work.
