A Brief Research On Li-Zhiyi's Social Association And Study Of His Works

Mr Li-Zhiyi, styled Duanshu, alias Scholar of GuXi, residing in Cangzhou Wudi, was one student of SuShi in the latter part of the Northern Song Dynasty. Although he was not as famous as the four excellent students of SuShi, his poetry and songs have a high reputation at the time. In WuFu's"the former collection's preface of GuXi Scholar", he said that SuShi and SuZhe seldom praised other's works except Li's, and Li was eponymous as Huang Luzhi, Chao Wujiu, Zhang Wenqian and Qin Shaoyou. Li's works were as beautiful as Greate Mountains. In Wang Mingqing's"the post collection of HuiZhu"he claimed that Li's works were extreme rhymed. SuShi said that Li's works were profound. Li-Zhiyi's official career was a very long road. Li Zhiyi became a student of SuShi when Su came to Dingzhou because Li was very upright and brave. He was claimed to be guilty because of writing will for Fan Chunren. Then he was demoted to Dangtu and never had regret about this. Li followed SuShi in all his life. Zhao Dingchen said that, SuShi was demoted to Danzhou, and his friends in the past did not like to meet SuShi any more, except only three or four men, such as Li. In"Song History", there was only a biography which was no more than 120 words to document his entire life, so did other books. Much more about him was unclear. In research field of Song Songs, he looked bleak under the guise of great masters such as Su and Huang. With the passage of time, his works will be issued a unique brilliant.There are four chapters in this paper. In the first chapter we mainly discuss the impress of parties'dispute for Li, including his office career, personality and works. We discuss the soial association between Li and Su in the second chapter. In the third chapter, the association between Li and other students of SuShi is presented as well as their works. In the last chapter, we will show the association between Li and others such as Hezhu, Guo Gongfu, and Zhou Zizhi. In this paper we will reappearance the social reappearance the social association between Li and other people in Song dynasty, and give an in-depth study of his works.
