The Acoustic Analysis Of The Vowel System Of Mongolian Subei Vernacular

Subei vernacular is one of the vernacular of Oirat dialect of Inner Mongolian language.Resechers have made some studies on the vowels of this vernacular by means of traditional phonetics,but no one has made any study on Subei vernacular by means of the acoustic phonetics.This thesis is a paper of Acoustic Phonetics which is based of experimental phonetics method.The The paper composed of two part in overall.In the first part, the vowel of Subei vernacular is described in detail, including initial and non-initial syllable short vowels,long vowels, duration of the vowels as well as vowel harmony in Subei vemacular.Based on the structural description,it generalizes the phonetic feature of the Subei vowel system . In the second part, vowels system(initial and non-initial syllable short vowels,long vowels, vowel harmony) of Subei vernacular ,Alasha vernacular and Oirat dialect be compared.The thesis is a contribution to the phonetic research of the Subei vernacular.
