Philosophy of life is an important thinking and exploration in life issue,and life and death issue is the core. The people Who sincerely face all their lives must be thinking of life and death issue, which was thorough understanding about the significance of life .Of Scholars in the pre-Qin, Zhuangzi's theory is the most abundant and profound. It is an important part of the philosophy of life and represents a certain spirit of the times. At that time,dukes or princes under an emperor struggled for hegemony. The war frequently broke and the people had no means of livelihood. Zhuang Zi inherited and developed Lao Zi's Dao. He thought that people's life and death were"the unity and division of gas".It"depends on one's resources and root". Zhuangzi laid stress on life without greed of life and he thought that people should happily die not to look down upon lives. Zhuangzi pursued a long life and conformed to nature.He thought life and death was a regular process determined by fate ,advocating"to sit down and fall into oblivion of your body","to peace and quiet your heart","to get into the unique"and "to hold a free and unfettered idea" . This was different from life and death viewpoint of the Confucianists. The Confucianists advocated ,"if we don't know life, how can we know death"and"life and death are arranged by God". Zhuangzi's life and death viewpoint is important in the aesthetic sense.It can be said that it is a wonderful work in the history of Chinese aesthetics. It dispels the tragic awareness of death and transforms sense of fearing of death into the happiness of spirit. This gives us a revelation, so that we will think about and explore the ways to adapt to nature more rationally, the ways to respect the laws and the ways to how to cherish life and to face life better. The preface introduces mainly the reason why I choose this subject.By introduction,we will reveal the status of life and death philosophy .It will reveal the significance of Zhuangzi's life and death philosophy. The first chapter introduces the theoretical basis of forming into Zhuangzhi' s life and death philosophy. Especially,"Dao"is the philosophical basis of Zhuangzi's life and death philosophy.The second chapter introduces the theoretical ideas of Zhuangzi's life and death philosophy.It mainly explains the conception of nature and value about Zhuangzi's life and death philosophy. Zhuangzi laid stress on the natural life and death. It is different from the Confucianist s'life and death philosophy.The third chapter introduces Zhuangzi's ideas to detach oneself from reality. Zhuangzi stressed that life and death was a regular process determined by fate.Usefulness is of great use.Only by this,people could realize ideal state.It has important aesthetic sense and modern value , which is explained in the forth chapter .We can understand Zhuangzi's life and death philosophy better by reading the article ,so that it gives us a historical lesson .
