| The Buddhist commandment, as one part of three principles-Document, Commandment and Commentary, has a huge significance to maintain the Buddhist in a right way. However, lv zong, as being famous for keeping the Buddhist Commandment, has been losing her originality after several centuries' development. Master Hongyi, the eleventh generation, took the responsibility of rebuilding Nanshan Commandment, although the Buddhist had been facing failure the step by step and the misunderstanding of society. He made great contribution to turning the Buddhist Commandment into the right way and rebuilding it by studying the classical document, writing works and practicing by himself.First of all, Chapter One displays the overall history, the developing of mainstream in Buddhism Doctrine and Chinese Lv zong. It analysis the reason for the decline of Lv zong, and the reason why Hongyi engaged himself in the study of Nashan commandment .It claims a series of questions in reviving the Lv zong. The essay focuses on the main problems encountered by Hongyi, including the specific resolutions and typical method used by him.In chapter two, analysis the idea of "fusion of three sects "for Buddhism in order to enhance the importance of Doctrine .The three Chapter contains Hongyi's idea of the acquisition in the end of world for the commandment and his effort for this .In Chapter 4 derives and arranges the principle of studying the commandment systematically. Chapter five will focus on his famous work, reviewing his idea of followers at home, positively taking part of society theory.Last but not least, the end of this thesis will summarize the important contribution of Hongyi and compromise the disadvantage to try to give more useful information for the future study. Two sparkles are possibly given by this thesis as bellowed: Firstly, this article absolutely has the original stuff, meanwhile has abundant historical facts. Basing on these two points, I believe the argumentation would be historical and critical.Secondly, the main commandments idea has been firstly, systematically and clearly proposed, including how to keep mind clear in the desperate world, develop followers' commandments in different periods; The Master Hongyi's idea could possibly be author's original theory conclusion. |
