On Plato's Doctrine Of Citizen Education

Educational thought of citizens in the Republic of Plato was an important theory, it was more important inspiration to our education of the country today, it is more important to open our thought of the education. Many of kinds educational questions were discussed in the Republic of Plato from different angles of theory in articles. In the Republic of Plato education of citizens was respected to developing the country. According to many studies, we can distinguish that educational thought of humanism was traditional educational thought in Greece. The theory of educational brain stated the main ideas of citizen education of Greece, and it stated the thought of Plato to the citizens clearly. Through the training moral character and soul raised qualified citizens. It stated the aims of education to lead the citizens trained by education to the lives of spirits of country and they build their country. For the reason, Plato set up a system of practising education process. According to raising qualified citizens and his thinking then, Teaching contents were divided into maths,geometry,astronomy,music,dialectics etc by Plato. In education Plato designed an outline of education layout from rough to exact. Primary education of the guardians: Modeling justice soul ; Higher education, the soul would return to the virtue really; the latest targetof education raising qualified rulers—the king of philosophers. In teaching methods, Plato used the different teaching way to the education way of Greece in ancient. Inancient the tutor was teaching poetry,tragedy,comedy to children. Till termSocrastes stated knowledge was virtue. Grasping virtue was only one way of teaching. The art of teaching of Socrastes affected Plato deeply .Plato kept the teaching way from soul. Plato criticized the way of old teaching of Greece by the relation on "imitate"and "original"through philosopher' eyes. He put the dialectics into the view of knowledge. He would raise the King of philosophers by dialectics and he would complete the thought system of education citizens.
