As a famous historian and the founder of the local chronicles theory in Qianlong and Jiaqing period, Zhangxuecheng whose pioneering system theory had a great impact on both the theory of compiling the record and the practice for the following generation. Moreover, he also carried out a lot of activities for compiling the local records, and he had mastered or participated in the compiling for more than a dozen books successively. However, in this dozen or so local records, only four are his main works, they are The records of Hezhou, The records of Yongqing county, The records of Bozhou, The general records of Hubei. The first and the third local records belongs to the records of Anhui. The records of Hezhou is the local records that was independently compiled by Zhangxuecheng for the first time, which embodies his early thinking of local records. In addition to its traditional breaking values on the nature of history, a series of creating on the system and rules of compiling the records. Some creation and starting on the compiling rules and regulations are all significant tache in the development of theoretical system of Zhangxuecheng's local chronicles. Further more, The records of Hezhou had raised a debate between Zhang and Dai, which is one of the most famous debating in the compiling history of local records. The records of Bozhou is one of the representatives that stands for his gradually mature thinkingof local records. Zhangxuecheng himself also considered this book as his glory. Because it offered him a relatively free space to perform his personal insight for local records. The setting up of "Anecdote" and " Table of figure", is the signal for his theory entering mature. The discussion on the two Anhui local records of Zhangxuecheng will be quite valuable for the formation of researching his idea and the theories of local chronicles. Besides, during his whole life, the participation or personal essays are mostly incomplete. Even if the two famous Anhui local records can not be seen in a whole, The records of Hezhou has only 100 words list and several sequence, and tens of relevant self-preface and sequence content. The records of Bozhou lost more, only left three articles of table of figure, each with no more than one thousand words, as well as three anecdote. It's really a pity that the remainding of the two brilliant books are so limited. Therefore, it would be a matter of great academic value to integrate and neaten the existing text of the two records. And it would be a matter of necessity to discuss both the historical ideas and thinking of local records reflected in the two books and its function as well as value in the formation of his local records system.During the mid-Qing Dynasty, Jianghuai region was famous for its economic prosperity and culture prosperity. Anhui literature's achievement is successful with the representatives like Daizheng, Chengyaotian, Wangniansun, Duanyucai. Daizheng, one of the greatest masters, had a guidance influence on the formation of Zhangxuecheng's early academic style, and had association with Zhangxuecheng's academic in the subsequent academic exchanges. In addition, the academic exchanges between Zhangxuecheng and other Anhui literature scholars run through his entire academic career. His academic career and academic thinking were influenced by their impact to a large extent. His whole life were filled with down and out, he had displaced along Hubei, Beijing, Hebei, Henan, Anhui and some other places. My thesis is trying to combine his academic experience in Anhui and the theory as well as practice of his two Anhur local records, and then neaten his contacts and interaction with Anhui scholars, make clear of the compiling process of the two Anhui local records, discuss how his two records influence the formation of his core theory of local chronicles, and at last probe into the contribution and influence of Zhangxuecheng's two Anhui local records.
