Verifications Of Chuci Zhaohun

As far as the author of Zhaohun is concerned,it has been fiercely discussed since Wang Yi.There are mainly two groups in discussing the author of Zhaohun.Firstly,Ou Yuan is the author;secondly,Song Yu is the author.Zhaohun's soul has become a new focus since Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty.There are three following influential views on Zhaohun's soul:Song Yu recalls spirit of Qu Yuan,Ou Yuan recalls the spirit of himself,Ou Yuan recalls the soul of Huai Wang.This thesis narrates the views and customs about recalling soul before Oin Dynasty.Furthermore,with the discussion of recalling soul differences between Chinese minority and many other nations,this thesis reaches the conclusion that this was no soul recalling custom before Oin Dynasty.So Zhaohun does not imply the recalling of spirit.This thesis holds that Qu Yuan is the author of Zhaohun.There are following four reasons.Firstly,the record of Shift.Secondly,the same writing style between Zhaohun and Ou Yuan's many other works.Thirdly, Ou Yuan always expresses his devotion to the King of Chu and his country;Song Yu usually expresses his fate and future,which is different from the devotion to King in Zhaohun.Fourthly,Song Yu has no ability to create Zhaohun with his personal temper and morality.In Zhaohun,it is Qu Yuan who recalls the soul of Chuhuai Wang.There are four reasons for that.Firstly,there was no soul recalling custom before Qin Dynasty.Secondly,the beginning and ending lines imply Huai Wang's experiences,opinions,and morality.Thirdly, the first half of Zhaohun shows the fact of Huai Wang's death in Qing Dynasty.Lastly,the second half of Zhaohun is in accordance with cultural relics.
