Peasants's Burden Of Base Areas In The Northwest Of Shanxi During The Anti-Japanese War

During Anti-Japanese war(1937-1945),for the Communist Party of China, led most people in base areas of the northwest of Shanxi to carry on lasting war to win the national independence,which caused peasants' burden to be essential.Geographical position of the northwest of Shanxi is special, located at east side of Shanxi,Gansu and Ningxia base areas,overlooking Tong-Pu railway and Taiyuan,Datong and other big cities.It connects Yan'an and other areas,regards as important channel to Shanxi,Gansu and Ningxia base .So it is considered signiticant. But its social economy environment is bad, the people is poor and land is barren. Lasting and the brutal war caused the peasants' income to reduce and the burden to increase, whom life had one misfortune after another, the situation became more cautious. The peasants contributed to the Sino-Japanese War ,which expanded on strength, weakened the feudal influence, caused Sino-Japanese War to victory.This article uses the massive reference material, profits from economics and the sociological, analyzes the condition of the peasants' burden,which throughs three contrasts to study.The thesis is divides into three time to research and the article has four parts.The first part is "Physical geography and agricultural economy survey in the northwest of Shanxi",which the physical geography, the agricultural economy, the social culture's survey has made the introduction.The second part is "Peasants' burden in July, 1937—September, 1940".
