Research About The Rationality Of Need And Its Modern Significance

In our everyday life,all types of subjects have a wide variety of need,and always meet their need through concrete action,in the same time their own interests are satisfied. There are great differences in the content of subjects,one of them is the rationality. The action of every subject is influenced by his need ,The result of his action will be positive when his need is rational,and the result will be negative when his need is not rational. With the research about subject is developing more and more deeply, the problem of need is stood out as a hot and difficult one. As far as the relation of need and value is concerned, we are liable to define value with need, regard the need of subject as an standard to appraise whether it is valuable or not. Actually, there is also a problem about how to appreciate the value about subject itself, whether his need is valuable or not. Therefore, it is necessary to research the relation of need and its rationality.This article is based on epistemology of Marxist dialectical materialism, the rationality of need is introspected, the nature and content of it is expounded. The significance of this research is to establish the reasonable need, moreover to construct a harmonious society and promote the overall development of people in the influence of it. There are three aspects of the rationality of need: its judgment, its choice and its practice. As far as the judgment of the rationality of need is concerned, firstly, I will reveal the cause of the absurd need from the contradictions and complexity of the relationship of its subjectivity and objectivity. Then, I will bring forward the judgment based on the objective law as its foundation, that is to say it is lawful. As far as the choice of the rationality of need is concerned, I will analyze its regularity and purpose. As a person in need of making a choice, he must bring his free into play in order to make a choice with purpose, on the other hand, he must take the objective law into consideration, the principle which the choice of the rationality of need must obey is the unity of regularity and purpose. As far as the practice of the rationality of need is concerned, I will demonstrate the twofold effect when one's need is satisfied, then base the practice of the rationality of need on its positive effect, and bring forward it is the unity of rationality,regularity and practicality.
