Research On Subjective Well-being And Coping Styles In Conduct Of Postgraduates

Nowadays, postgraduates have lost superiority complex in the keen social competition day by day, some postgraduates even have psychological conflict, maybe which is related to self-experience. When some students have more negative experience, their psychological healths are less. On the contrary, their psychological healths are better. How to lead postgraduates who are in the universities belong to positive self-experience become the problems which experts are discussing together among education field, psychology field and society field. In my opinion, we can improve the subjective well-being through regulating their coping style in conduct, which make them belong to healthy psychology.In the research, I know their subjective well-being, coping style in conduct and the differences between groups through researching postgraduates' subjective well-being and coping style in conduct who are in key universities of Wuhan, which can help the ideological and political educators know how to lead some students who are face to problems and stresses to choose right coping style in conduct.This research adopts the method of investigation and questionnaires, selects 240 postgraduates in 4 key universities of Wuhan with female 109 and male 131, and achieves a feedback of as much as 100%.It comes to the following conclusions:1. Generally, postgraduates' grades in universities are better the middle levels in subjective well-being, and satisfaction degree of mind and body, the interpersonal relationship, the value and abilities and economy. Most of them adopt positive and mature coping style in conduct, namely problem solving and help-seeking.2. Female are better than males in subjective well-being and satisfaction degree of economy, male are better than female in satisfaction of value and abilities. one child in the family is better than others' in subjective well-being and satisfaction of economy, towns and urban students are better than rural students in satisfaction of economy, students from democratic families are higher than others in satisfaction of economy.3. Male and one child in the family tend to adopt problem solving, and female tend to adopt help-seeking. Literal students tend to adopt fantasy. Rural students tend to adopt self-blame.4. It has positive relationship between subjective well-being and positive mature coping styles in conduct, and it has negative relationship between subjective well-being and negative immature coping styles in conduct.According to the above conclusions, I give the following suggestions:1. Building the democratic atmosphere from postgraduates.2. Leading postgraduates to build up right attribution.3. Leading postgraduates to build up ideal personal character.4. Training postgraduates to belong abilities of coping problems.5. Making use of psychological consultation and developing group consultation.
