As a learned and talented writer in the history of Chinese modern literature, Xu Dishan is famous and special for his unique-styled stories and mysterious prose. Feng Zikai is a cartoonist and writer, whose prose is a mixture of feeling and philosophy in a calm and unhurried way. Both of them were deeply influenced by Buddhism and you can find the idea of Buddhism in their writings. But they were not restricted by religion (Buddhism) and didn't avoid the real world. On the contrary, free from vulgarity, they did a lot for the real world and for all the living creatures on it. Deeply influenced by the philosophy of Buddhism, they formed their special outlook on life with which they showed solicitude for and gave every care to the living creatures on earth. Their writings, therefore, have unique religious styles. In a word, these two writers were deeply influenced by Buddhism, which is shown in many aspects, including their standpoints, their thoughts of writings, the theme and style of their writings. The first chapter: the reason of study Buddhism: The national social difficult reality and recent Buddhism revolution, the edification of their family environment and life of frustrations, and the interest preference of them are factors. As far as the aspect is concerned, few people done detailed research except me. The second chapter: Buddhism influence to integrity and philosophy of the two men. From Buddhism they search for a way to solve mental pain that they experienced in life. Feng Zikai felt that the fate is variable and Xu Dishan felt that the fate is imperfect. They are also influenced deeply by Buddhism. Although deeply influence by Buddhism, they did not lead a reclusive life. Regarding Buddhism as a sort of life intelligence and then turning it into a life style, Feng Zikai seek a detached art life. But his view that regarding Buddhism as a mental weapon to reform society is obviously limit. Xu Dishan regard Buddhism as a philosophy and then explain, improve and reform it. He advocate leading a more positive life throughing the spirit used by Buddhism to save universal salvation. The third chapter: the Buddhism influence to culture. Xu Dishan treated Buddhism in a rational attitude then his writings filled with Buddhism imagery and vocabulary full off strong religious content. His fiction reflected society by female dramatis personae. his prose is delicate and significant. Embodying caring towards world and compliments towards childlike innocence, the prose of Feng Zkai narrates simply and contains tiny Zen soul .He narrates frankly and vividly. In recent years, influence of Buddhism on literature is one of the hot spots of academic research, few people compare and research Xu Dishan and Feng Zikai from the Angle of Buddhism. This paper made a new attempt.
