By The Multi-interpretation Attribute Of Li Shangyin Poetry

The reason why Li Shangyin has become the great poet of the Tang dynasty is his unique artistic achievements. Although broad consensus has been achieved, but his artistic achievements lack of theoretical analysis. Most of the analyses basicly are done in the framework of the traditional poetry theory, which does not explain the unique poetry attribute and resolve the ultimate interpretation of the poetries represented by "Jin Se" and "Wu Ti". The phenomenon of multiple interpretations embodyed on the poetries interpretation history is not the multi-meaning attribute, but the multi-interpretation attribute.First of all, the multi-interpretation attribute and the multi-meaning attribute belong to the different art types,the multi-interpretation attribute roots in the multi-meaning attribute. The research about the multi-interpretation attribute focus on the acceptance and interpretation of his poetry, which is not for more poetry meanings, but to research and analyse a variety of the produced interpretations. The multi-interpretation attribute is not a general art attribute of Chinese classical poetry, but a new art which quite different from the narrative form of traditional poetry and escapes from the conventional aesthetic standard, which develop a new world of the poetry art, but not the universal standard for poetry level.The interpretations of the multi-interpretation attribute poetry are based on the text,but the association meaning do not depend on the text meaning absolutely, which sometimes will not rich the text meaning,even to a negative. Be clear necessarily that not all the works of Li Shangyin have multi-interpretation attribute, but his "Wu Ti"(including "Jin se")and part of poetries with similar style.Secondly, the multi-interpretation attribute causes of Li Shangyin poetry manifest in many ways.which has its own reasons, such as the non-realistic images made by poet's spirit, the art practices of virtual-facts, a lot of allusions after the transformation, missing title; which has reasons of poet and the times, such as the doubt and critic to the Confucian doctrines , personal life experiences and unique creative ways of poetry, political experiences, the growth of love theme in the late Tang Dynasty, a large number of objects poetry combined with the unique writing ways, the relationship with Taoism, and the acceptance with Ruan Ji and Li He, etc. In addition, there are reasons of the recipients.In the interpretation process,the interpretations of Li Shangyin poetry show their respective advantages, at the same time also expose the shortcomings.Or to restore history, or to force into areas of the multi-meaning attribute, this traditional interpretation methods can not meet the special art attribute. The performance of the multi-interpretation attribute poetry is the spiritual world, emotional world, as far as possible to weaken the link to the real world, and to a pure emotion. It has high artistic self-discipline with digestion of the functions of the traditional poetry.To interpret this kind of poetries, the first is to grasp of emotions, but to avoid empty, the way is to use the generated interpretations of the poetry.There is no direct correlation between poetry which gives the value to the facts and the fact which shows reality described by poetry through the poet.
