Taking the artistic spirit of Li Boan's figure painting as the research object, the paper systematically makes a portrait and analysis of relationship between national culture and artistic spirit, characteristics and achievements of the Li Boan's arts, various content and expression of the artistic spirit of Li Boan's figure painting ,as well as the modern enlightenment from Li Boan's arts, mainly by adopting research methods of fine arts history and other relevant areas for reference, philosophy, aesthetics, literature and art, sociology and so on. Moreover, employing the objective law such as the essence, production, appreciation theory of art and Li Boan's art practice, the paper attempts to extract the essence and historical value of Li Boan's artistic spirit, as well as the significance of promoting the construction of Chinese painting contemporary.Introduction, body and conclusion make up this article.
