Henan is located in the Mid-East part of China, in the middle and lower of Yellow River. Because it is in the heart of Nine Provinces, so it has the names of"the Central Plain"and"Zhong Zhou". Henan is one of the Chinese national cultural birthplaces. Once there were more than 20 dynasties had founded their capitals in this area in the history, the famous ancient capital within the boundaries such as Luoyang, Kaifeng and Anyang, are among the Chinese seven biggest ancient capitals. From time immemorial, Henan always occupies emphatically the important position in Chinese politics, economy and culture, so it is very necessary to study Henan in nowadays.The recordings about Henan are very much in"General Records of Henan", therefore, if study Henan, we must first study"General Records of Henan". However ,"General Records of Henan"and"Continued General Records of Henan"in the Qing Dynasty are much better. Especially it is true with"General Records of Henan"in Shunzhi Emperor Period and"General Records of Henan"in the Kangxi Emperor Period. Fortunately, after ordeal, the editions of the Qing Dynasty"General Records of Henan"and"Continued General Records of Henan"have been handed down, and all take Chinese National Library collection as the best, therefore they are adopted by the paper.At present the research on"General Records of Henan"about the Qing Dynasty and"Continued General Records of Henan"is few, however, it is beyond the ability of myself to research it deeply and extensively. Therefore, this paper only studies the preface and the interpretation from"General Records of Henan"and"Continued General Records of Henan"in Qing Dynasty.
