Jone is located in the upper reaches of the Luchu River, Gannan Tibet Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province. A point of view in this thesis is that the Jone local dialect can be divided into four sub-dialects: sub-dialect of Northwest of Luchu River, sub-dialect on both sides of the Luchu River, sub-dialect of East of the Luchu River, sub-dialect of South of the Luchu River. In addition, there are some distinctive Tibetan languages, especially in the phonetic systems in the Jone local Tibetan dialect, which is very different from other Tibetan dialects. This thesis tries to therefore research why and how the local dialect differs from the others in Tibetan areas by using plenty of materials of authority. This thesis consists of four chapters. In the first chapter of this thesis there is a brief introduction of Jone. In the second chapter of this thesis is a recommendation of a variety of the inner sub-dialects of the Jone local dialect. In the third chapter of this thesis, observations and descriptions have been made on their phonetic systems and then a general discussion has been made on the Jone local Tibetan dialect with its characteristics of the inner sub-dialects and differences. The fourth chapter of this thesis, strongly discusses the similarity of the use of some consonants between the phenomenon of (?) in Jone local Tibetan dialect and the tablet inscriptions on the stone tablet Lhasa. Additionally, analysis and comparisons have been made with Jone local Tibetan dialect and Pathang local Tibetan dialect in Kham, with the Jone local Tibetan dialect and Shigatse local Tibetan dialects in U-tsang respectively.
