Neighbor-love And Citizen-love

Scheler used the phenomenal way as the basement of feeling-ethics, which is also a material ethics of value. Therefore, feelings, value, non-formal, all of them have an experience of initial inceptions, they are all established on the strict inspection as different parts of objective seat of value. This article chose a side of modern value which deviates from the real value for discussion of a question:"resentment"and"value deceptions". The understanding about resentment will influence directly to the conditions of modern value and the deviation of real value.Firstly, from the understanding of two kinds of value, the analysis of value deceptions in the formal or non-formal value. This analysis is to provide an ontological basement for ressentiment. From the expositing later, the ressentiment is actually the deceptions between formal and non-formal on value. The value deceptions occurred in the range of value, that is different from miss-understanding of value, the latter based on exact understanding of value, but the value deceptions is that it has the function of re-building new values and negating old values. In fact, the value deceptions put the non-values as real values. If only keeping the formalism in values, it would never keep the value deceptions away, and as the expanding of non-formalism, the value deceptions would continue to re-build new values. This not to say, because of the value deceptions, the new value could exist without old value. In fact, it's like the real values always show light through shadow gleamingly, the cheated values are mixed with real value.Secondly, the following two paragraphs described the neighbor-love and citizen-love. Although the neighbor-love is from holy bible, Scheler affirmed it from initial inceptions of non-formal in value, a seat of value could been found out in characters and meanings of neighbor-love. Therefore, the value in neighbor-love is not only a love in a religion, but also in a ethics; on the other side, in the describing of citizen-love, this article holds that Scheler didn't use a term as"citizen-love", but that's meaning is the same as modern-love, it's the result of a value re-building. Comparing with the neighbor-love, citizen-love is generated from non-formalism in value, the citizen-love is a deviation from real value essentially. Regardless of neighbor-love or citizen-love, in these two paragraphs, describing moral characters are the mainly parts.Finally, the relationship of ressentiment between neighbor-love and citizen-love. I believe that, from Scheler's view, the motion is initial experience of the seat of values, then the motion of resentment is the initial experience of value deceptions too, the motion of resentment and value deception in value is the consubstantiality. Therefore, the citizen-love could not been generated from modern society lonely, and it comes from the fact in formalism: not only it has no ability to get out of non-formalism in value, but also keep negating the objective seat of value strongly. Therefore, the citizen-love is a counterfeit from neighbor-love, it's not a really new view of value, and it also does not come from real moral value. This kind of deviation is reflected in the lost of spirit in the modern time because of the citizen-love.
