In the 1990s, as computer technology develop and mature, human society enter into a new period of digital art. Computer and network technology are the basic of digital art which is formed by the fusion of human science and art inspiration. The process of art production and consumption is fully use the advanced science and technology which are the essential features of digital visual arts. At present ,digital art is developing while has a rapid change that gradually formed some new artistic style. For instance, virtual reality, network game, digital media ,digital animation, CG art and digital Film, etc are the new artistic style, which reduce to digital art. It not only greatly enriched the life of contemporary cultural entertainment, aslo created a huge commercial value. Furthermore, it has opened up a whole new field for human visual art world.My thesis uses the literature reseach method to analyse and study the current condition of Digital Visual Arts in our country. I have absorbed previous research results, and what's more, my own understanding on this subject.The fisrt part describes that it is the rapid development of computer technology that urged the Digital Art to come into being, at the same time, brought people's visual arts to enter a better phase. Digital Art reflects the nicer interaction between Science and Technology and the aesthetics, In other words, It is a kind of specific performance that the computer technology penetrates into the field of art. More importantly, Science and Technology brings the Visual Arts into our daily life, which contains all the areas of society, as a result, people's aesthetic philosopy, aesthetic habits and aesthetic requirements brought about a qualitative change. In a word, Digital Technology will lead the aesthetic trend of the current time.In the second part, I expounded the role of the Digital Arts in the following four fields: Animation Design, Online games, Video Art and Multi-media. I tried to analyse the artistic value and commercial value which Digital Arts produced in the innovation realm referring to the Media, Visual arts, Film, Animation and Entertainment, etc. Furthermore, I went to analyse the Digital Arts in a new angle, thus put forward to foster and develope Chinese Digital Visual Arts industry.In the third part, I mainly made clear how the new art rapidly developed in two fields: mobile video arts mobile game. By contrasting mobile phone research and industry at home and abroad, I tried to find out unfavorable factors in the development of Chinese mobile phone industry and draw lessons from other better resources. In the end, I foreshadowed the prospects upon the development of Chinese mobile phone industry.In the fourth part, I described the social status of the Digital Visual Arts. In other words, as a new visual arts it resulted in the commercial value and social value in the field of social production and aesthetic value.The Digital Art has promoted the development and progress at all levels of the society, meanwhile changed our traditional aesthetic and lifestyle. However, it also had a negative impact. So we should take up social development with sense of responsibility and mission, learn from others's strong points to offset our weakness and ultimately make use of advanced digital art to create a more exciting Visual arts.
