Research On The Intimate Relationship Satisfaction Of College Students And Its Relation With Attachment Styles

Using the college students in Jiangxi province as the sample ,under the background of Chinese culture, the research penetrates into the structure of college students intimate relationship satisfaction .Begin with the structure of intimate relationship, using a sentence as a item, the Intimate Relationship Satisfaction Questionnaire was formed. After analyzing the data of the survey, formal scale was finally formed. The correlation relation between the attachment styles with the intimate relationship satisfaction is also studied in the research. The main conclusions are as followed:⑴Under the background of Chinese culture, college students intimate relationship satisfaction consists of four dimensions: affectional support, morality, competence and personality, behavior habits.⑵The test result show that the Intimate Relationship Satisfaction Scale has a higher validity and reliability.⑶Generally speaking, the college students are satisfied with their imitate relationships. The score of the Intimate Relationship Satisfaction Scale have no difference on variables such as: sex, grade, academic speciality, family structure, family living places and so on.⑷The scores of the Intimate Relationship Satisfaction Scale have difference on different attachment styles. Secure ones have a higher level than other ones.
