On Effect Of Vocal Music On Cello Performance

Cello is an instrument with elegant tone which is the most closely associated with music. It is very close to the human voice either in range or in timbre. Its shape is similar to the figure of the human body. And its music presentation also has many connections with vocal music. The author hopes that with the reference of the use of breath, the vocal vibration and resonance, as well as the presentation on stage of vocal music, the cello performance can be enlightened from the aspects of vocal music. And, by applying them to the cello performance postures, the playing techniques of the bow, the cooperation of both hands, the presentation of timbre and the use of body language,the author expects that the cello performance can be further developed.
