Study On The Thought About Congenital And Acquired Buddha-nature Of The Di Lun School

The Chinese Di Lun School was an important school of thought in the Northern and Southern Dynasty,its main research was "Explanation of the Ten Stages sutra ",minor researches were "Mahaaparinirvaana-sutra" and other classics.The Di Lun School not only promoted the study of Buddhism at that time,but also had a tremendous impact on Buddhism in China for the future.The Di Lun School was divided into two branches: South Road,North Road,the main bones of contention were different understandings of "Dangchang" and "Xianchang",and teaching theory of "four sects and five sects". Among them,"Dangchang" and "Xianchang" focused on the congenital and the acquired Buddha-nature which was the main differences between the two branches.
