Chinese culture comes from all of the various Schools of Thoughts which has affected china greatly.MO-zi school is an important one in all of the various Schools of Thoughts in Pre-qin dynasties and it is regarded as leading as Confucianism. To face the challenge in social development, what's more,MO-zi school served us a systematic logic theory, which consists of Jin-shang,Jin-xia,Jin-shuoshang,Jin-shuoxia,Daqu, Xiaoqu. The theory of "Ming,Ci,Shuo" is the core of Mohist logic.Generally, having its own special content, the theory is similar to that of concept, judgment and proposition in traditional logic. This thesis examines the theory of "Ming,Ci,Shuo" from three aspects:Part one is a review on the study about Mohist logic. This pat mainly probes on the social background, classic sayings and modern study on Mohist logic, giving a summary to Mohist logic.Part two is about the theory of "Ming,Ci,Shuo".This is the core of my thesis. There are four sections in this chapter.Section one is a review, and other sections study problems related to concepts and forms of this theory.Part three gives an evaluation of this theory, according to Aristotle's logic. Comparing with western logic,I try to analyze and evaluate it in terms of culture.Basing on the works above, three conclusions can be drawn:firstly,Mohist logic justifies the existence of logic in ancient China and has its own character.Secondly, expression of ancient Chinese affects greatly the process of confirming the theory of "Ming,Ci,Shuo".We should catch the essence of our ancient logic from an view of language.Thirdly, the difference between Mohist logic and western logic results from different culture contexts.
