Cui Qingtian is a famous contemporary logicians. Devoted his life to study logic, he has partake edited or chief edited basic logic and history of Chinese logic textbook many a time. In the study of Chinese logic history, and comparative studies of Chinese and Western logic, he has a remarkable contribution. For the development of the Chinese logic he has outstanding contributions. Cui Qingtian inherited the research and reflected the "Explained Chinese according to theWestern" method of earlier scholars on the history of Chinese logic. He put forward new ideas on the nature and research methods of Chinese logic. He believes that there is logic in ancient China, and is different logic tradition from traditional Western logic. The early history of Chinese logic, that has achieved many significant results, but he considered there are many drawbacks about research methods, leading to the understanding of Chinese logic, there are some deviations. Therefore, he proposed to change the old "Explained Chinese according to the Western" method, should be the premise of respecting the text, combined with the historical background of a specific period of time to analyze the ideology of logic. He proposed and used "historical analysis and cultural interpretation" method. He made a series of remarkable achievements.This paper is divided into four parts:Part1 Cui Qingtian history of Chinese logic. This part explained Cui Qingtian view about some basic issues of the history of Chinese logic . In his view, "Mexican defense"system put forward the theory of ordinary logic, Thus there is a logical Mohist, is also a logical ancient China. But the purpose, object, nature and content of Chinese logic are different from West logic, and logic run by the historical conditions and cultural background is different, so the Chinese logic is independent of the Western of traditional logic. For the study the history of Chinese logic, Cui Qingtian that should be the history of formal logic as the main content, should not include dialectical logic.Part2 Cui Qingtian research methods history of Chinese logic. Cui Qingtian study focuses on the history of Chinese logic used by the two methods: comparative, historical analysis and cultural interpretation. He considered that comparison is important, but in the comparative study of logic must pay attention to commonality and particularity, it should be compared scientifically to avoid far-fetched analogy. Moreover, historical analysis and cultural interpretation methods are also essential. The analysis of historical and cultural background will help reveal the characteristics and evolution of ancient Chinese logic, contribute to a more objective analysis the reasons and the situation of the logic of existence and development in ancient China.Part3 Cui Qingtian research into the history of Chinese logic. This chapter describes achievement of Cui Qingtian research the history of Chinese logic. First of all, the ancient Chinese logic is never independent of politic and philosophy. This is also the overall characteristics of ancient Chinese logic. Second, compared to traditional Western logic, Mohist argumentation has some characteristics. The nature, purpose, mission, the main reason and major components of Mohist argumentation are different from Western tradition of logic. Third, although the main elements of ancient Chinese logic is the name theory and argumentation theory, but there is different of each school.Part4 reflection of Cui Qingtian history of Chinese logic. This part discusses some scholars in the different views on relevant issues, the author also put forward some views, and a brief summary of Cui Qingtian History of Chinese logic.
