| As a Chinese Contemporary poet, Yu Jian has been writing poems for three decades. This article explores the characteristics of his poetry and the formation of his poetic concept from the perspective of word and object. Written experience of word and object eventually developed into the concept of poetic style. The first chapter of this article focuses on the characteristics of the word in Yu Jian's poetry.) Section I of the first Chapter deals with the form of Yu Jian's poetry (the style of Yu Jian's poetry),while Section II focuses on the relations between the word and the image. And Section III clarifies the relations between word and object, embodying the real landscape of a poet's spoken word. The second chapter of this article elaborates the object in Yu Jian's poetry, which is divided into three kinds, the object right near the eyes, the object encountering life, and the object as a witness, according to the hidden time and the distance to the body. They represent the interactions between the poet and the surrounding world, particularly how the poet sings in a mentally-deficient age. The third and last Chapter expounded the poet's body concept and his ideal of being a Mahayana Poet.The poetic concept of refusing metaphors, colloquial, sense of language are derived from the poet's body concept. This article holds that body concept and the ideal of being a Mahayana Poet contribute to the development of poetry and provide a model for literary theory and writing. However, absolute denying of sublime is not in favor of in this article. |
