Grammar is one of the most important parts of English while grammar teaching plays a crucial role in English teaching.This study examines the hypothesis:using graphs can greatly help English grammar learning and teaching..The original way of using graphs to teach grammar is tried and many graphs about the grammar points consequently come into being.There is a class of senior two assigned as the experimental group and another class in the same grade is regarded as the controlled group.Only the experimental group is taught in the interesting way while the controlled group is taught as usual without touching the interesting method.Before teaching the grammar points with the interesting method,a pretest is held to see whether the two classes have the same English level.After teaching the same grammar points,a posttest is held to see whether this method plays an important role.The results of the data analysis reveal that the new method has really brought some changes to the experimental group.From the interview,most of the students in the experimental group consider this method as an interesting way to learn English.The implications of grammar teaching and learning with the interesting method are also summarized and the limitations of the research are pointed out.The suggestions for future study are put forward.
