The Research On "Daqu" Of Song Dynasty

"Daqu" was once regarded as an important means of expressing music in Chinese history. Rooted in the Confucianism cultural background, "Daqu", was widely applied for different occasions, such as the temples and grand banquet.Normally, it would be a huge musical performance with talented musicians and dancers. "Daqu" was overwhelmed popular from Han to Tang Dynasty.However, it is generally believed that "Daqu" started to decline since Song Dynasty.Therefore, in academic circles, people did not paid much attention on the academic research of this period.However, as a necessary part of Song Ci, we still could discover the potential influence of "Daqu"in Song still remained . And "Daqu"'in Song played a irreplaceable role (direct / huge influence,) in the develop of Song ci. Therefore more attention should be paid on the research of "Daqu" in Song, which should be the valuable and abundant asset .Based on the research of historical records, folks notes and some the comprehensive study on Ci Lun and Ci Ji?, I tried to draw some general information about "Daqu" in Song.First, after sorting out all the collected materials from different sources, I would raise up some solutions for those "Daqu" without clearly titles and structures.Second, based on certain Ci Pai have the same name with some Daqu, as well as the associated structure connection between them, I could speculate the existence of some"Daqu".Third, We have gotten a general and logical view about the definition, title, mode, structure and potential existence situation of the "Daqu" in Song.After studying the choice of words, rhythms, rules in"Ci lun", and also some musical information generated from Kun opera, classical music etc, we could generally picture out the structure of"Daqu"----the constitution of each part, rhythms, and also how it reflected certain emotions. So we could imitate the way that how ancient musicians performed"Daqu"roughly.Moreover,we could represent an original face of"Daqu"to the reader partially.
