The Condition And Internal Mechanism Of How Emotional Evaluation Influence On Congnitive Activity

Most studies of the emotional impact on cognitive activities is conducted from this two perspective. One perspective is from the emotional valence of departure that the positive and negative emotional feelings on cognitive activities have different effects;another angle from the emotional point of view of evaluation,the evaluation of emotional that will affect subsequent cognitive activities,even if the same emotional valence may also be because the different evaluation of the emotion will have different impact on cognitive activities.Evaluation of the emotional point of view is based on the theory of emotion and evaluation,that there are six dimensions of evaluation hidden under the emotions.Happiness dimension is the traditional valence perspective of emotion and cognition research.This two perspective of emotion study were all supported by empirical evidence,then there will be a problem of the results of empirical research that the same valence emotional will have different impact on cognitive activities,even the same sentiments on the same cognitive activity would affect the results exactly the opposite.How to interpret the conflicting study results? In this study, evaluation of the content from the activation of emotional conditions,pointed out that the external conditions are different potential to activate the corresponding content of the emotional evaluation dimension,the activated evaluation will influence the subsequent judge.At the same time,this study also explored the the internal mechanism that activated evaluation of the emotion impact on subsequent cognitive activities.The study ues 465 secondary school students as subjects,a pilot study in one explored if the activated certainty will impact on certainty judgment,the high certainty appraisal leads to high determine judgments,low certainty appraisal lead to lower certainty evaluation judgments.Studyâ…¡explored the activation process in the absence of conditions,the individual automatically activate the emotional dimension of happiness - that is,emotional valence and the activated valence content will influence the choice of cognitive processing style,positive emotional individuals tend to use heuristic processing style,the negative mood individuals tend to use systematic processing.Regardless of what kind of evaluation content were activated,the individual use the activated content to influence subsequent cognitive activites as a kind of imfomation.
