Individual's Aesthetic Survival

In the 20th century,Foucault is one of the most important thought master in France and the world academic circles.In his later period,the aesthetics of existence research not only have coherent and summary meaning to his whole academic careers,and this is also the aggressive life style he designed that aims at the modern people's condition and come out the predicament of the modernity,having strong realistic meanings.Foucault's aesthetics of existence differ from the ethics and esthetics in the traditional meaning,what it pay attention to is the esthetic relation of the individual and oneself, promote we similar to the artist,create the life of the ego to an own art object,give the daily life a kind of form of art.This paper takes Foucault's aesthetics of existence as research objects.The first chapter reveals the theories background of the esthetics of existence from three aspects.The second chapter summers up the main contents of aesthetics of existence such as formation foundation,research object,scope, core,main method and purpose.The third chapter analyzes the domestic and international scholar's different opinion to the Foucault' aesthetics of existence,put forward we should be exactitude treat his assertion of aesthetics of existence and for contemporary life's apocalypse and meaning.On this foundation,emphasizes that the Foucault's aesthetics of existence not only is a kind of metaphysical esthetics concept, more is a kind of counter-metaphysical life styles and practice intelligence,a kind of attitude that treat the oneself and the living,its end purpose is realize the individual's aesthetic survival.
