Excellent novels express writers' inner world in a euphemistical way, which are circulated in the form of stories and gain sympathetic response with spatial imagination from words. Beautiful songs convey composers' emotional thinking with marvelous tone, which spread in the form of sounds, and capture audiences' ears with actual listening feelings. Fine paintings naturally need its own system of painting language to express painters' inner world as well and it also bridge the gap between works and appreciators. Nowadays, under a booming society, people are rich in material life; in the meantime they need to explore their spiritual needs. Thus more fine art works with the power to reach people's hearts begin to be accepted by the market. Exorbitant price prompts art creation to its climax while makes some works too commercial to maintain their cultural value. Artists are not Gods beyond the time. As an ordinary person as well as one member of the most sensitive group which emphasizes spiritual creation, besides influence from surrounding areas, an artist must retain unique and diverse inner emotions in different stages. These spiritual elements, stemming from life itself but different from ordinary daily expression, need to be conveyed in a proper painting language. This cannot be done through even most delicate words, nor can it be done through even most touching tones. It cannot be conveyed but can only be sensed by painters themselves. It is a kind of particular sense, inner spirit based on one's cultivation. When dispute over so called Pure Painting Language arises in academic circles, one side thinks painters can pursue painting language expression and do not focus on their inner worlds as long as they are adept in painting skills. However, the other side believes that painters can work out fine paintings as long as they have good ideas, regardless of which kind of painting languages they use. Actually both of them are unfair. One painter who cannot master drawing skills cannot uses painting brushes to properly express his feeling, while those who are skilled in painting techniques but have a pale heart must face another embarrassment that nobody can accomplish anything without necessary materials. This dissertation is mainly to discuss the relationship between the abundance in painting languages and the need to express painters' inner world which focus on the form transformation of art language in different times, and explores the prospect of Chinese enjoyable oil painting deriving from the collision between Chinese philosophies and western oil painting. The first part of this dissertation puts an emphasis on what is painting art language.
