This paper starts with the examination of present researches, and focuses the main part on the exposure of novel of ZhangAiling, and the thesis background is existentialism.Through tracing back to the origin research of ZhangAiling, the author points out that the novels of ZhangAiling reveals obvious topic of existentialism ,which did not showed ever before.Likewise, only under the circumstance of existentialism can man feel the real value of ZhangAiling.In the first part, the author explain the theory from the key word"exist".Then analyse novels of ZhangAiling from three angle:"ex"and"exist", exist and freedom, exist and death.Throughout this, we can get the conclusion that ZhangAiling is so popular is not only because her achievement in writing skill but because the existentialism implication.On this basis, the author draws the conclusion: all inspirations are ultimately existential. Inspiration is a meaning attribution and creation, which can't be separated with human psychological field and value issue, leading people to explore the foundation of existence, modify and shape human living.
