The aestheticism is a trend of literary thoughts which appeared in the late nineteenth century in the west.It has long been paid closed attention to.It is 20th century that aestheticism has appeared in China which is resulted from the influence of Western aestheticism and the need of Chinese literary itself.This thesis will probe into the echo of aestheticism in the 20th century of China,analyzing the acceptance and variation of aestheticism in the different eras of China,in order to expound the relation between the era contexts and the trend of thought.In the big tide of the aestheticism of these more than 100 years,two points of view jumped out.One was sourced at Five Four Movement and lasted to 40s of last century.Its distinctive aesthetics thoughts belonged to the elite culture concerning aesthetics idea in literary field,as well as in literary creation.The aesthetic advocated the belief of "Art's for Art's sake".The other was Aestheticization of Everyday appeared in 90s,appreciated the daily experience of esthetic and the esthetic taste. Beauty slipped from the very high chancel,and adhered to the surface of daily life. The practical life of the aesthetics has the consonance with the mass culture in consumption society,which created a deliberation called "art's for life's sake".If it can be said that it is the art's view and the life's view in the first tide in China,the second one would be the consonance between the Aestheticization of Everyday in consumption society and aesthetic' daily experience.Take a wide view of Chinese esthetics of last century;Different backgrounds of the times produce different humanities landscapes.Carding the origin and development of points,and then observe them diachronically,meanwhile,compare them synchronically.
