The thesis set Tangming into a historical context that is unmixed singing of traditional Xiqu.The first,from literature and oral material,we find Tangming originate from Qingyinxiaobu existed at Qinhuai River of Nanjing in Ming and Qing dynasty.The measure about musical system done by the three generation emperors of Qing forepart caused amalgamation to Gushou,priest and Taoist,and stable structure.The second, the performance form of Tangming,singing Xiqu at table that is different from the stage performance and the Gong -Drum or orchestral music insert into each Zhe(the play unit),was recorded and its operation's running was controlled with the dual relation of community and association.The third,two main effects of Tangming, during the Kunqu's transmitting and inheriting,were explained by investigation about some Tangming actors' life were Xiqu actor and musical player turning and teaching of singing Xiqu and playing music,as teacher,to professional group and unprofessional people.Until the 20 century's middle period,Tangming group whose main operation is Kunqu had been dissolving.Not only its inherited contribution,but also it enrich our knowledge to downfall of Kunqu,since the Hua and Ya contend.
