English Tittle The Use Of Bel Canto In The Training Of Kun Opera Singing

The vocal method of bel canto is very different from that of singing in Kunqu opera.However,whether it is the localization of the vocal song into China for many years or the modernization of the Kunqu opera education and training,there is constant exchange and interaction between the two in the contemporary setting.This essay proceeds from the sound training course in the Suzhou Kunqu Opera School to discuss the use of the vocal method of bel canto originating in the West in the training of contemporary Kunqu opera singing.In the training in Kunqu opera singing in the present time,there are some visible effects and influences of bel canto in terms of concept,theory and vocal instruction.These influences are reflected in the theory of vocalization,in the method of sound production,and in how Kunqu opera sung tunes are actually sung.Based on theory,the author tries to analyze how the foreign vocal method of bel canto is affecting vocal training,vocal production and the processing and singing of Kunqu opera tunes.
