First Dance in Xinjiang and Spring Dance, with the style of Uyghur's piano solo, absorb the compositional techniques of Xinjiang minority musical elements which are done by the composers, Ding Shande and Sun Yiqiang. First Dance in Xinjiang, which was composed by Ding Shande in 1950, is the earliest Xinjiang Uyghur's piano musical works since our country has been founded. This works has been setting the good example for the future works with this kind of style. And then in the year of 1980, Sun Yiqiang, another composer, composed another piano musical works Spring Dance. It is popular with people in our country because of its romantic color, beautiful melody and cultures and customs of the ethnic minorities. Langlang, the genius pianist, collected Spring Dance into his favorite phonograph record two times. These two piano works, with strong flavor of minorities and moving melody, has distinct characteristic of Uyghur's music and holds an irreplaceable position in the Chinese piano musical works.This paper deeply analyzes power of sensation and expression in music, playing techniques and the style of folk music by exploring the creative background of the two piano musical works and their important position in China's piano musical works and through the personal experience of playing. This essay reinforces the mastering of the style of folk music and the characteristics of playing of Uyghur's piano works in order to make more piano fans understand and master the playing techniques of piano musical works of this kind.The paper consists of four parts:The first part mainly introduces the authors'two piano musical works and their historical background. First of all, this part introduces life experiences of the two composer Ding Shande and Sun Yiqiang and the representative works of their own, and then followed by an introduction to the historical background of the two pieces of piano music in order to better grasp their musical style and creative features.The second part attempts to have a detailed musical analysis of the two musical works from the perspective of rhythm, melodic study, tonality, musical form and harmony. At the same time, this part also performs a detailed analysis and research on playing techniques of the two musical works from the aspects of touch-key technique, fingering and pedal use. The third part expounds on the style of folk music reflected from the two musical works and their manifestations and analyzes the similarities and differences of the style contained inthe folk music.The fourth part is the conclusion. It points out the practical significance and value of the analysis of the musical works First Dance in Xinjiang and Spring Dance from three aspects.
