The Research Of The Short Novel About Taoism In Sung Dynasty

The Sung Dynasty is very important in the history of the Classical Chinese novel aspect.But in a long time, it didn't get enough attention. On the concerns of the Classical Chinese Novels, researchers make much account of Six Dynasties,the Tang and Five Dynasties, the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. 20th century since the 80's, this situation has made significant changes. Study of the Sung Dynasty classical Chinese novels has increased significantly, but which specializes in works on Taoist novel had yet to emerge.So on the basis of their predecessors, this paper tried to analyze the Taoist novel thoroughly and resumptively.Bases on the materials of the novels and features of political ,economic and culture in the Sung Dynasty, the goal of the paper is to discuss the content characteristics and the style characteristics.The first chapter is the foundation, It collects sitable novels, explains the definition of this kind of Taoist novel in the Sung Dynasty, and analysis the research overview.The second chapter is important. Bases on the unique historical background in the Sung Dynasty, the paper paid more intention in the combination of Confucianism and Taoism, the public culture and the new development of Taoism.The focus of the third chapter is to analysis the style characteristics of the Taoist novel. Taoist classical novels of Sung Dynasty is similar to biographia literaria in writing style.What's more, it's obvious to find that the authors have strong purposes in the writing.
