The Reason Of The Changes Of Female Images Of France Oil Paintings In Mid-nineteenth Century

Female is always the primary theme of paintings,its form and cultural connotation changes follow different times.This paper choose some typical female images of oil paintings and attempts to analyze the relation between the female images and social concept in l9th century of France.The thesis consists of three parts.The introduction recollects and summarizes the previous research of the female images,thus leads to the foundation and significance of this research.Chapter One probes into the root of the female images,thus reveals the entire process of its development from Ancient Greece to 18^th century in Europe.Chapter Two discusses the changes of female images of France oil paintings in mid-nineteenth century.Chapter Three states the relation between female images of oil paintings and the culture of France society.The cultural connotation of female images reflects the changes of different aspect such like trends of social thought,politics democracy etc.The conclusion makes a brief analysis of the research prospect of the female images of Paintings.
