A Realistic Value Study Of The Moral Example

Moral example is the personality of the society, it is social positive and dominant. The ideas and moving deeds of moral example bear a main dominant social moral orientation, reflecting the outlook on life of some society. In traditional society, moral example has played an important role as a means of induction. But in modern society, moral example encountered unprecedented crisis because of great changes in social structure and moral values which came from the social transformation. In this case , does moral example have the double requirements from the society and ethics? How does moral example come into being inmodern society? How to develop moral example fully in the new century? ......Suchquestions as this, it is not only related to the development of model itself ,but also related to the improvement of individual moral training and the effect of the socialist moral construction. The weakening of model power does not prove that moral example has no value any more , but on the contrary , we do need model and the spirit of model in socialist market economy for its incomparable social and ethical value. Therefore, it is necessary to review from the perspective of modern moral example.This paper is divided into four chapters to review the modern moral example from the modern perspective in order to perfect it through analysis of west culture and Chinese traditional culture. Firstly, the paper analyzes the content of moral example from different aspects and summarizes the characteristics of it. Secondly, the paper explores the specific mechanism on the basis of summed up the moral example came into being. The come into being of model is not only the requirement of individual moral improvement, but also the call from the social circumstance. Thirdly the paper discusses the values of model .lastly, it discusses how to practice model example in modern society effectively. Currently, the country is in the market economic conditions, the impact of the market mechanism to infiltrate into all spheres of society. To some extent it makes people confused about the moral orientation and the value of options. Based on this, this paper attempts to study the moral example and put it into practice. We should excavate the spirit substance of model so as not to discuss it superficially. The model education should try to lead people's moral values and promote the building of social ethics, in order to create a harmony, positive and progressive society ultimately, meanwhile promote the socialist ethical and cultural level.
