The jealousy is an unpleasant and often painful blend of feelings characterized by inferiority, hostility, and resentment caused by a comparison with people who possess something we desire. The relationship between jealousy and personality is always an important aspect of study on jealousy. Self-esteem is an important factor among personality variable. The research discusses implicit jealousy with IAT, analyzes the sex differences of implicit jealousy, furthermore the research discusses the relationships between implicit jealousy and implicit self-esteem for the first time.After analysis the experiment data of 60 participants, the results indicate that the IAT effects of implicit jealousy is significant, the sex differences of implicit jealousy are non-significant. The implicit jealousy is significant correlations with implicit self-esteem, and this correlation is significant for female participants, but this correlation is not significant for male participants.As a whole, the research discusses implicit jealousy with IAT, discusses the relationships between implicit jealousy and implicit self-esteem for the first time. The results of the research hopefully furthered our knowledge about the implicit jealousy, the relationship between jealousy and esteem. Future research should employ implicit measures to study jealousy, so that the nature of jealousy may be better revealed and understood, and the study on jealousy should be increased.
