Emerson is a famous American transcendentalism philosopher in 19th century. His'view on nature is an important part of his transcendentalism theory. By comparing with Wordsworth and Thoreau,we can analyse Emerson's view on nature more concretely.Emerson believed everything had their soul, and also nature is the symbol of spirit. By wordsworth's influence, Emerson gradually formed a double view on Transcendentalism nature in both material and spiritual dimensions. On the other hand, Emerson also affected his student Thoreau's view on nature. Although there are some sources among them, their nature is different. Wordsworth's nature is a combination, while Emerson's nature is double in material and spirit, and Thoreau thinks nature has its own spirit. In the contemporary context angle, Emerson's view on nature has an important lesson to people in survival morass in both material environment and spirit value.
