The Dagger Of The Warring States Period--The Research On Fables Of Han Feizi

Because of the different definition of fables and the lower status of fables in the Chinese literary circle, the research of fables is the weakest link in the research of Chinese literature. Though the research on fables of Han Feizi started later than the research of Han Feizi , it is receives more and more attention, which prospered during 1970s and 1980s.This paper includes three parts: the research on content of Han feizi's fables and the research on artistic style of Han feizi's fables and the influence on the later literature. The first part includes three parts: Han feizi's life experience, the fables's fundamental situation in Han Feizi, and the fables's content in Han Feizi. The content is divides into four parts: fa, shu, shi, the truth of life. Although it is not original, through the research of the content , the paper try to find that the Han Feizi's fables occupied an important position in the development of Chinese fables by the methods of statistics and induction. The second part includes three parts also: the structure of Han Feizi's fables, the technique of expression of Han Feizi's fables, the description of characters of Han Feizi's fables. By the methods of comparison, the paper finds the inheritance and the development of Han Feizi's fables. The third part explains the influence on the later literature.The paper explained the content, artistic style and the influence on the later literature from the text. With the predecessor's research, narrowed perspective and the history of Chinese fables, the paper tried to make the study of Han Feizi's fables systemized.
