The argumentation prose refers to the style that used to discuss and argue something or state idea.It is the most important part of ancient prose in China. After the gestation of Pre-Ch'in and the development of the Han Dynasty, the argumentation prose reached the peak during the Wei and Jin periods, with more than 200 existing works. These articles have profound thoughtfulness and extractive literary talent. They are not only the precious literature in the history of thought, but also the excellent works of art in literary history . In view of the lack of literary study of the argumentation prose of the Wei and Jin in today's academia, starting from the text of this article, combined with backgrounds of times and culture, this article is to explore the regularity of the development of the argumentation prose of Wei and Jin and highlight its unique artistic style. This article consisst of four chapters.Chapter One A pandect on the argumentation prose of the Wei and JinThe prosperity of the Wei and Jin argumentation prose was due to the Wei and Jin scholar's great enthusiasm in learning and creating the argumentation prose. A large number of argumentation proses and corpuses emerged. The Literary Theory had also been an unprecedented development.The argumentation prose of Wei and Jin not only has characteristics such as extensive choices in subject matter, one title made by many persons, and ardent debate, but also in art takes on a new style which is of a strong subjectivity, speculativeness, a variety of thesis forms, distinctive quality of the language .It can be described as the only eternal and splendid achievements. The rise of the argumentation prose,are definitely due to the prevailing social environment, the times and customs, academic rheology, but they are only external factors that all need to work through the creators. The writer's own quality, creating motivation, creating desires, the choice of style and form of debate are their flourshing inner causes.Chapter Two The argumentation prose of Three Kingdoms periodThe argumentation prose of Three Kingdoms period is divided into two, Jian'an argumentation prose and Zhengshi argumentation prose. As the representative of Zhengshi periods, the argumentation of He Yan and Xia Houxuan's articles are fresh and simple, the diction and thoughts are excellent. They represented a new tendency of style of writing. They showed a conscious pursuit that diction was beautiful and rhetoric was elegant.Chapter Four The argumentation prose of the Eastern Jin DynastyThe argumentation prose of the Eastern Jin Dynasty had the new development over the previous generation. First of all, the history of argumentation proses have an unprecedented flourishment. The Xijin Dynasty has unprecedented history books of Annalistic style.
