Through the analysis and generalization of the paper cutting, the paper applies the evolutionary computation to the process of the design, introduces a creative design method of paper cutting supporting evolution, and provides a visual computer-aided design environment system. The main work is as follows:1. Apply the evolutionary design to the computer-aided design of paper cutting.Through the thought of the computer-aided design and method of evolution, the paper applies the genetic algorithms, product tree based features to the process of the conceptual design of the paper cutting, in order to break inertial thinking and give the designer inspiration and imagination to create images with more originality2. Introduce a method of generating patterns based on genetic algorithm.Through the analysis and summation of the paper cutting, this paper abstracts the needed patterns and uses the genetic algorithm to generate them, and improves the genetic strategy, increases the measurement of the curve uniformity and smoothness on the founding of the fitness function, improves the method of crossing and mutation so as to enlarge the variety of the population and found a colorful pattern bank.3.
