The question of art origin is the fundamental question of Aesthetic, philosophers and artistic philosophers in history had different understandings and interpretations about them. Heidegger abandoned the traditional metaphysics, and formed his own ontological thought from the distinguish of phenomenon and logos . He also explained the beginning and essence of art again, and this made the initiative contribution .In this paper, the anthor try to talk about the the background of Heidegger' theory about art origin, and its content, significance and limitations.
