Application Research On Knowledge Management In Higher Vocational English Teaching

In 21 century, Knowledge has become the crucial power in the development of society with the Knowledge-based Economy's appearance. The applications of Knowledge Management (KM) are being paid by more and more attentions. The knowledge management's purpose is to create values for organizations, and promote its competitive power, accelerate the knowledge share and recreation. With the research and application of knowledge management has been put into tiny research realms, colleges and universities also have the possibility and necessity to apply the method of knowledge management to the theory and practice of the management. While the applications of KM in education organizations especially in higher vocational English teaching is a new subject.Higher vocational education is an important part of higher education, however the higher vocational English teaching still existed some problems. This thesis tries to explain how to apply the strategy of knowledge management for English teaching, and promote the students' English level.This article has carried on the analysis and the elaboration to the knowledge management in the higher vocational English teaching. The paper research's frame is:The first part: The introduction part is mainly discussing about the background, the significance, the research present situation of knowledge management, the research technique as well as the paper construction and so on.The Second part: The English teaching of Higher vocational is systematically introduced, in view of the current situations of English Teaching, the paper discussed how to construct a knowledge management system; analyzed the teaching resources' organization and code, meanwhile made some proposals.The third part: The paper analyzed and discussed the relationship between KMS and modern teaching. It discussed the knowledge innovation, share and transfer in the process of teaching, and pointed out the inherent mechanism between the KMS and modern teaching.The forth part: The paper proposed some general principles to realize KMS, offered some tools for it, including: set up the English teaching knowledge portal based on Intranet, establish the teaching system and student community based on multimedia technology.The fifth part: conclusion.
